DOn't forget to highlight key words and terminology as you edit by adding subtitles to your footage.
You must also show your product to your original focus group.
Think about what your audience has suggested then make amendments as you see fit, or if you decide to ignore them, write about why, or you could present this in a video diary style.
The next stage of the process is the evaluation. We will go over these questions next week but you could start thinking about them.
In the evaluation the following seven questions must be addressed:
1. In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?
2. How does your media product represent particular social groups?
3. What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
4. Who would be the audience for your media product?
5. How did you attract/address your audience?
6. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
7. Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?
You should aim to use as many different presentational devices as possible to present your answers to these.
eg powerpoint, prezi, avatar, sliderocket, podcast, video, googledocs, scribd- can you find any others? I should think you can!
